A Northern Youth group, Arewa Youths for Peace and Security (AYPAS) has called on it members in Nasarawa State especially in the Southern Senatorial District of the state to support the candidature of Dr. Yusuf Mohammed Agabi as the senator to represent the zone come 2027. In a statement signed by the group National Secretary Mohammed Sulaiman, said the group has endorsed Agabi, part of the statement read “As we approach the upcoming general elections in 2027, we find ourselves at a pivotal moment in our nation’s history. Our collective commitment to peace, security, and progress for the Arewa region has never been more critical. In this light, we are excited to announce our unwavering support for Yusuf Mohammed Agabi as he campaigns for a Senate seat.
Yusuf Mohammed Agabi has demonstrated exceptional leadership, integrity, and dedication to the values we uphold as an organization. His vision for a prosperous, united, and secure Nigeria aligns with our mission to foster peace and development within our communities. We believe that his experience and passion make him the ideal candidate to represent our interests in the Senate.
We urge every member of Arewa Youths for Peace and Security to actively participate in this campaign.
Since Agabi started his consultation with stakeholders in the about his intention to contest for the hollow chambers under APC there have been calls and endorsement of his candidature from various bodies urging him to contest.
Receiving the group on behalf of Dr. Yusuf Mohammed Agabi, Hon. Balarabe Musa, said that the Agabi Campaign Organization is pleased and excited to receive the group and will definitely get the support of Dr. Yusuf Agabi.
